As the cool fall weather sets in, Stacy Conley continues to develop her custom home on lot 158 in Rock Springs as part of our Builder Apprentice Program. Not only is the drywall up, roofing is finished and brick and masonry have been completed.

“I am loving every minute, seeing the process and everything finally coming together,” Stacy said.

Stacy has a vision for this project and hopes for a loving family to be able to enjoy this house and be able to establish memories as she did growing up. RJ Thieneman Sr. carrying on a legacy of not only developing and building, but also strong family values allows Stacy to truly reflect on why she continues to do what she loves. She remembers her grandfather being a hard worker with great vision and the rare ability to make his visions a reality.

“Through his passion for life and work, he developed and maintained lifelong relationships and partnerships. Family was very important to him and I hold that same value,” Stacy said.

Stacy chose this floor plan for its extreme versatility for a growing family and new builder. There are many options for future finishes as well as the butler pantry connecting the dining room with the kitchen.

Some of the features that are unique about this floor plan compared to the other homes in Rock Springs is that this plan is extremely adjustable to any family’s needs. The flexibility of having a window well/egress window in the basement adds for a potential to finish the area with a bedroom. The upstairs additional unfinished bedroom and bathroom serve as a possible opportunity and that is what sets it apart.

This home can grow with a growing family. The butler pantry offers additional cabinet and counter space for out of sight and larger pantry space, and can also be used as a bar for entertaining. The formal dining room can be used as a formal dining area or entry office. The second story great room and upstairs loft study area could potentially be a media room. The space offers high quality cabinets, and unique vanities and lighting that set it apart from your typical speculative home. All the features and highlights of this home are custom-made.

Stacy’s home is scheduled to be completed between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2016. Follow RJ Thieneman’s blog and Facebook page for updates on Stacy’s first home.
