We are very proud of our marketing intern, Eiman Zuberi, for serving as emcee for 6th Annual Interfaith Iftar Dinner Tuesday evening. The Pakistani American Alliance for Compassion and Education (PACE) hosted the interfaith Iftar dinner on July 9 to break the daily fast during the month of Ramadan. The event, which drew more than 500 people of many different faiths, was held at Second Presbyterian Church.
This Iftar dinner has become an annual event that the Pakistani Islamic community uses to build bridges with other faith communities in Louisville. The event began with a series of speakers including Mayor Greg Fisher, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz, Tori Murden McClure, Rabbi Stanley Miles and Dr. Muhammad Babar.
Eiman is a senior at the University of Louisville and oversees the social media accounts and website blogs for RJ Thieneman.
