At RJ Thieneman we emphasize doing things RJ’s way. Our founder, RJ Thieneman Sr. instilled a sense of responsibility for the company to make a positive difference in the community. We continue to honor his legacy by giving back to the Louisville community throughout the year. On Friday, November 3, RJ Thieneman staff volunteered at Habitat for Humanity with Louisville Realty Group agents to help build homes for people in the Louisville community.

Volunteering at Habitat for Humanity is a company favorite. Although this volunteer opportunity is fun, it also gives our staff the opportunity to live out our company motto- “Connecting People and Places.” Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to build affordable housing so that families have a safe and inviting place to call home. This mission not only helps individuals, it helps the community as a whole.

Our team was working on a home in the South end of Louisville. This home will have four bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. We were excited to hear that this home is being built for a woman who has immigrated to Louisville from Uganda. She is a single mother with four children. Her home will be ready for her family to move in early spring 2018.

The RJ Thieneman staff loves to give our time to Habitat for Humanity to better the Louisville community. By connecting people and places our community and  our city will only improve.
