RJ Thieneman is opening a new section of its thriving residential development, Rock Springs, to builders and home buyers. Section 3B in the rear of the development consists of 37 lots which differ from homes in the existing community.

“The homesites will be less expensive, yet the homes will continue to be of the highest quality,” stated Bob Thieneman, Jr. “We are attempting to meet the needs of today’s buyers with smaller homesites while adhering to detail, amenities and energy efficiency at a great location.” The custom home builders that have already purchased lots in the new section include: Clifford Thieneman Company, Deville Homes, Hardy Builders, Jaha Homes, Prestige Builders, Ramage Company and Thieneman-Seitz Construction.

New custom home floor plans have been created for this section utilizing the concept of Lean Design. It makes no difference if the house cost $300,000 or $3 million; the key to Lean Design is providing ultimate value to the homeowner. Lean Design requires collaboration with the building team, architect, and contractors to drive out unnecessary cost and maximize desirability.

Rock Springs, site of the 2012 & 2013 Homearama, was recently awarded “Best Single Family Development under 300 Homes” by the Building Industry Association (formerly Home Building Association of Louisville). This is the third year for this honor.
