Brian Thieneman has 20-years experience building real estate brands and guiding the efforts of top-tier, well-respected companies. An accomplished corporate strategist and leader, his vision and expertise in business performance has driven growth in commercial and residential sectors.

From his work with retail and office properties at the Paragon Group (Kentucky Lottery Corp./Prudential Insurance, and as a loan officer with National City Bank), to his accomplishments with the RJ Thieneman property The Villas of Forest Springs, as well as commercial projects Breckenridge Plaza and the Shops of Forest Springs (Kroger, Thornton’s, Blockbuster, McDonald’s, PNC Bank), Brian possesses a combination of creative and operational strengths. Most notably, Brian’s recent success involved the redevelopment of Franklin Square Shopping Center in Frankfort, Kentucky(Kroger, J.C. Penney, Office Depot). As his family’s business begins its tenure as a second-generation company, Brian looks forward to the challenge of guiding all branding activities and continuing to direct the opportunities derived from mixed-use developments.

Brian has a BBA in Finance from the University of Kentucky and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He lives in Louisville and has two children.

After five years of real estate sales and construction experience, Bob moved home to be a part of the family business. Through the years, his duties have expanded from real estate sales to currently overseeing all residential development, entitlements, and operations. In addition, Bob serves as principal broker for RJ Thieneman & Associates, a newly expanded full-service real estate company that augments the roster of historically top-notch on-site new home specialists.

Bob stays abreast of the ever-changing planning and development process by staying involved with the Home Builders Association of Louisville. A board member for 14 years, and past chairman of its Land Development Committee, Bob and the RJ Thieneman team stay up-to-date and plugged in to the planning and development and marketing trends in the Louisville area.

Bob holds a BA in Real Estate from Eastern Kentucky University. He lives in Louisville with his wife, Beverly. They have two children.

David’s real estate journey began in 1994 at Paul Semonin Realtors, where he enjoyed success as a Realtor specializing in New Construction. He joined Dominion Homes as a Sales Consultant in 1999 and was recognized by the Home Builders Association of Louisville as the top-selling agent of New Construction (units and volume) in the Louisville market for 2000. His leadership role with Dominion Homes grew as Director of Sales Operations from 2000 to 2003, as he helped to make Dominion Homes the number one builder in Louisville by the end of 2003.

David also gained valuable experience in the development and sales and marketing of “Master-Plan” communities with Arvida and parent company The St Joe Company in Florida and The Carolinas. In his role as VP of Sales and Marketing from 2003 to 2005, he led the Mid-Atlantic Division to outstanding growth and increased brand awareness for builder arm Saussy Burbank Homes.

A product of Georgetown College with a double major in Marketing and Finance, David is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and The National Sales and Marketing Council of The National Association of Home Builders. He lives in Louisville with his wife, Karen, and their three children.

Mary joined RJ Thieneman in 2007 after nearly 20-years experience in real estate business accounting. Mary began her career as an accountant in residential development and construction for Schuler Building Company before her years of service with Jefferson Development Group, where she handled the accounting duties for their retail and office real estate. Prior to joining RJ Thieneman, Mary was controller for Dixie Real Properties in industrial real estate.

Mary holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and resides in Southern Indiana with her husband, Danny, and has two daughters.

Benton Seay has been active in commercial real estate development and management for more than 25 years. He formed Seay Properties, a Louisville, Kentucky, commercial real estate development company, in 2004 and brings over 25 years of commercial real estate experience focusing on retail, office, industrial and mixed-use development projects. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Benton served as an ICSC Kentucky State Alliance Co-Chair for 2 years and also obtained the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Prior to forming Seay Properties in 2004, Benton was President of Hagan-Seay Properties in Louisville. Benton has also been associated with THP Development, NTS Corporation, and Metts Company, all headquartered in Louisville. Mr. Seay lends development expertise with retail, office, industrial, and mixed use properties. He resides in Louisville and has three children.
